For November's meeting,  we're delighted to welcome guest speaker and Full Circle Fund Alumnus Sanjay Wagle to discuss the role of the Federal Government in growing the green economy and the clean tech sector.
Sanjay just finished two and a half years serving in the Obama Administration at the Department of Energy. Before he left the Bay Area for DC, he spent a decade as one of the early venture capital investors focusing on clean technologies. He was also a Full Circle Fund Environment/Energy Circle Member who worked on the Ella Baker Center project. Don't miss the chance to hear Sanjay's perspective. Prospective members are also encouraged to join us for this meeting.

Sanjay Wagle served in the Obama Administration as Renewable Energy Advisor at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), helping to oversee $11 billion of Recovery Act programs for renewable energy, and as Associate Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Energy (ARPA-E), helping to commercialize breakthrough energy technologies. Previously, as a Principal at VantagePoint Venture Partners, he invested in and worked with a number of renewable energy and clean technology companies involved in biofuels, solar power, electric vehicles, and green buildings.
 About Our Current Grant Project At the September meeting, Environment Circle Members selected Business Council on Climate Change (BC3) as their new grant partner. BC3 is a public-private partnership that works to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in San Francisco through dialogue, collaboration, and direct action.
