Chandra Alexandre

Chandra Alexandre is Director of Development at the Bay Area Council where she focuses on acquiring funding through individual, corporation and foundation philanthropy channels for the organization's policy initiatives, research and key programs. Previously, she was Director of Operations & Development for KIPP San Francisco Bay Academy, a public charter middle school dedicated to helping underserved youth attain a college education. At KIPP, she helped initiate technology, organic gardening and girls' empowerment programs. Prior to her work at KIPP, Chandra was Senior Manager, Corporate Development at Knowledge Learning Corporation, the nation's largest provider of child development services. In her earlier career, she worked at a private K-8 school and served as Special Assistant for the Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Switzerland under the Ambassador and US Representative to the IUCN-World Conservation Union. Chandra grew up in New York City and graduated from Columbia University with a degree in psychology and philosophy. She holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio School of Management and a doctorate in Asian & Comparative Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is fluent in French.

Jennifer Anastasoff

Jennifer Anastasoff has over 10 years of experience in education and community service. Her work includes teaching in the classroom through Teach for America, serving as an analyst in the California Legislature, and working in a for-profit education corporation. She has been a speaker at Harvard Business School, Harvard University, and the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley, and has presented papers at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and at the Comparative International Education Society Conference. Ms. Anastasoff has a Masters in Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government where she received the prestigious Public Service Fellowship. She also has a Bachelors degree from the University of California, Irvine in Cultural Anthropology and Political Science.

Mike Anders

Michael Anders is a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in their investment management division. Previously he was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Michael spent his career as a financial analyst, a wealth advisor, and an entrepreneur. He worked in Europe as a credit analyst for Societe Generale in Paris and London. He then started a company that built and helped market charitable funds for some of the largest financial service firms in the country. In that role, Michael worked with advisors and their affluent clients around philanthropic planning, including donor-advised funds, private foundations, pooled income funds, and the related tax, investment, family legacy and gifting issues associated with such strategies. He also spent a couple years as a Vice President at Franklin Templeton Investments, focusing on their fixed income, municipal bond, equities, and alternative investment products. In addition to serving on the boards of Full Circle Fund and YouthNoise, Michael is also on the advisory board of the Tech Museum. He received his B.A./B.S. in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island, as well as a certificate in International Economics from Columbia University. His lives in San Francisco with his wife, Delphine, and their two children, Lella and Romeo.

Bendee Anzures

Bendee Anzures is currently Director of Marketing at Diamond Foods, a consumer packaged goods company with the Diamond and Emerald Nuts brands. She also has experience across other industries, having worked at the technology consulting arm of GartnerGroup and the nonprofit Alumni Association at UCLA. Throughout her career, she has stayed involved in the local community, from serving on steering committees for the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce to Street Project, a New York grassroots organization. Bendee received her BA in Communication Studies from UCLA and her MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She enjoys theater, international travel, and UCLA basketball.

Denise Aptekar

Denise is the Director of Risk Management Strategy at PayPal. Her past roles at PayPal were in content and product management, the latest one being the Director of Product Management for Consumer Protections and Risk Management. Denise led PayPal's early efforts to allow consumers to use their bank accounts to fund online payments. She was responsible for building the bank funded payment model, as well as an accompanying patented risk model that assesses the risk of instant online bank payments. She also was part of the team that designed a patented system for building an online dispute resolution system that allows buyers and sellers to work out their transaction related complaints directly with one another. Prior to PayPal, Denise worked on PlanetWeb's parental control software which enabled parents to limit what websites their children could access online. Previously she was the Content Manager for eDaycare.com, a start up whose goal was to place webcams in daycare centers so that parents could watch their children remotely during the day. Denise is active in a range of volunteer and philanthropic activities. She completed the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Leadership Development Program, has interned with Senator Barbara Boxer and at the American Jewish Committee's National Office in Washington, D.C. and is a member of the San Francisco Jewish Community Endowment Fund's Young Funders' Forum. Denise enjoys participating in intellectual and political discourse, hiking and traveling. Denise earned her B.A. from Stanford University in Political Science.

Josh Becker

Josh is an entrepreneur who has a deep history of involvement in the community. Josh is currently incubating several new start-up companies including IAmplify.com, a web-based syndication network of exclusive audio and video content. Josh was the Director of Corporate Development at Agile Software(AGIL), a leading provider of collaboration solutions. At Agile, he oversaw major partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and assisted with corporate strategy. Prior to Agile, Josh was at Redpoint Ventures where he focused on consumer internet and wireless investments. Previous employment includes Brentwood Venture Capital, Netscape Communications, and McKinsey & Co. He was the 2nd employee at Earthweb, Inc, which went public in 1998. In Washington, D.C., Josh started a successful technology consulting firm and was one of the youngest press secretaries on Capitol Hill. He holds a B.A. from Williams College, an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a J.D. from the Stanford Law School. Josh founded Full Circle Fund and currently serves as Board Chair. While at Stanford he co-founded the Board Fellows Program, which matches Business School students with the Board seats at nonprofit organizations, and has become a national model for other business schools. He also ran a year long initiative on technology and social change at Stanford. Josh is also on the Board of One Economy Corporation and the new University of California campus at Merced.

Ben was most recently a Principal at Maveron, a venture firm co-founded by Howard Shultz, the Founder and Chairman of Starbucks. Ben was formerly a Principal at Rosewood Capital. Before Rosewood, Ben worked as VP of Corporate Development at Harris Interactive (1998-2000). By training, Ben is an attorney and he worked at Latham & Watkins for a short stint after clerking on the Federal Court of Appeals for the First Circuit in 1997. He is the co-author of "The Politics of American Discontent" (J. Wiley & Sons, 1994) and a number of articles on politics, public opinion, and the law. Ben earned both his AB and his JD at Cornell University. He also is a budding wine enthusiast and has a talent for finding incredible wines for under $30 per bottle!

Anne Boyd Rabkin

Anne Boyd Rabkin has worked in the nonprofit sector for a decade, executing communications, advocacy and evaluation strategies for public health and environmental nonprofits. Currently at Resource Media, a nonprofit communications consulting firm, Anne promotes news coverage on energy and climate science and helps journalists localize the story about global warming. At PATH, a global health organization, Anne worked on the Reproductive Health and Children's Vaccines Programs. Her work has resulted in articles in leading news outlets, such as The New York Times and Science magazine, a variety of publications, and increased awareness among policymakers, physicians and community leaders about health policy issues ranging from cervical cancer prevention to the Rotavirus vaccine. Anne's global health experience includes consulting for the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and working at the Population Reference Bureau in Washington, DC. Before PATH, Anne worked on the evaluation of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's Library Program, assessing the impact of public access computing on low-income communities. Anne holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a B.A. in Sociology, Phi Beta Kappa, from the Pennsylvania State University.

Mike joined Partech International in 2001. He has been active in a number of Partech's investments in the software and Internet sectors, including mSnap Interactive, Perenety, InQuira, Meiosys (IBM), PentaSafe Security Technologies (netIQ), and Ingrian Networks. Prior to joining Partech, Mike was the second employee at Bluefire Systems, an enterprise software start-up in the supply chain management software sector. During his tenure at Bluefire, Mike was Client Services Manager, leading the deployment of Bluefire's advanced inventory management and pricing software at major retail and consumer goods clients. Prior to joining Bluefire, Mike served as a Business Analyst with McKinsey & Company. Mike has a BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from Yale University. Eva Camp

Eva serves on the Board of Full Circle Fund. A mother of three young children, she dedicates her time to improving public education, whether through the Piedmont school district, where she is a resident, or through the work of Full Circle Fund's Education Circle. Eva worked for more than 10 years at Microsoft, marketing some of the company's most successful products, including Word, Office and consumer titles. Her last role there was Director of Market Planning and Analysis for Microsoft's line of home products. Other highlights at Microsoft include helping lead the turnaround in the company's Japanese application software business during a 3 year stint in Microsoft's Far East region and leading the first worldwide launch of Microsoft Office in over 25 languages. Prior to Microsoft, she worked in product management at Proctor & Gamble. Eva has a BA from Harvard University, where she was co-president of the Asian American Association.

Jeff Camp

Jeff Camp grew up in California, attending public schools in the Bay Area. During high school he traveled regularly to Sacramento to attend meetings of the State Board of Education as an advocate for students' interests. After graduating from Harvard, Jeff joined Microsoft as a member of the marketing team for Microsoft Excel. He spent his first year at the company traveling all over America conducting seminars to persuade Lotus 1-2-3 customers to try Microsoft Excel. His next position was on the startup team for Microsoft Project. In the course of three versions, Jeff helped establish that product as a critical tool for the IT industry and advanced it beyond $100 million in profit for the company. His next move was to Windows 95, where as the product manager for multimedia he led the effort to broaden Windows' usefulness beyond business applications and into the growth area of gaming. From 1995 through 1997, Jeff took a break from product-related efforts and put his Japanese language skills to the test as Business Manager for the Far East region (headquartered in Tokyo). On his return to Redmond in 1998, he led the reorganization of a large IT group before heading the design of Microsoft TaxSaver, the company's one-year entry into the tax preparation software business. His last position at the company was General Manager of MSN Music, an online music service whose time had not yet come. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2001, Jeff has been a very active member of Full Circle Fund's Education Impact Circle, which he now chairs. Jeff was a key contributor to Full Circle Fund's financial sustainability analysis project for Leadership High School, and he also designed SchoolBoardMatters.org. The Education Impact Circle's theory of change model was developed as an outcome of the 2004 grant process led by Jeff. He also led the Education Impact Circle's 2005 engagement with Oakland Unified School District. In 2005, Jeff was appointed to the Governor's Advisory Committee on Excellence in Education.

Nicole Carta

Nicole Carta is an associate program officer at the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund where she contributes to the Fund's grantmaking in environment, women's reproductive health and special initiatives. Prior to her work at the Fund, Nicole produced domestic and international conferences for the public television market for Independent Television Service. Nicole worked for several years in Spain negotiating debt settlement packages with public sector clients in Latin American and the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and Africa for World Investment News Corporation. In 2003, Nicole co-founded World Action for Humanity, a non-profit organization raising awareness and resources for partner projects in East Africa providing free education and social service care to children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. Nicole is currently on the leadership team for the San Francisco chapter of Net Impact and has sat on the boards of the National Women's Politic Caucus San Francisco and the District Three Democratic Club.

Julia Chih

Julia Chih joined the Bay Area Coalition for Equitable Schools (BayCES) in 2004 as part of the Oakland Unified School District Expect Success! Redesign Team. She supports a variety of innovative and systemic reforms which entails distributing resources more equitably, giving schools more autonomy, providing principals the operational support they need to be instructional leaders, creating systems that allow for accountability, and redesigning central office services to operate in a service economy model. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she worked in the Governor's Office of Education in Sacramento, California. Her experience also includes working for the New Jersey Department of Treasury and the Federal Office of Management and Budget. Julia has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare from UC Berkeley and a master's in public affairs and urban and regional planning from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Jon Cirome

Jon Cirome was most recently the Group Director of Marketing & Communications at VolunteerMatch. He joined VolunteerMatch in January 2001 after a six-year career in marketing and business development. Prior to VolunteerMatch, Jon helped develop brands for Fortune 500 clients at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco. He began his career at the United Nations Volunteers in Geneva, Switzerland as a program analyst, examining program development and resource allocation of international aid programs. His volunteer service includes mentoring teens, teaching squash to inner city children and relief work for hurricane victims. Jon completed his undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College with a degree in Economics. Sam Cobbs

Sam Cobbs is the Executive Director of The First Place Fund for Youth, an Oakland-based nonprofit organization founded in 1998 to remedy the lack of services available to youth who are making the difficult transition from foster care to independent living. First Place targets its services to 16- to 23-year-olds who are preparing to or who have recently aged out of foster care. With a FT07 budget of $2.8 million and 26 staff, First Place serves over 400 youth in San Francisco, Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Sam has worked in the service of youth for over 12 years, beginning in Oakland as the Physical Education and Health Director and later as a Branch Manager for the Boys & Girls Club of Oakland. He also spent eight years at Larkin Street Youth Services. In his final years at Larkin as the Director of Program Services, he opened the City's first emergency shelter for young adults ages 18-24 and assisted in the design and implementation of two of the nation’s most innovative housing programs for youth - Ellis Street Apartments, San Francisco’s first permanent supportive housing program for youth, and Larkin's Extended Aftercare for Supportive Emancipation program (LEASE). Sam has also served as the Associate Director of Juma Ventures, a successful youth development program that uses social enterprises as a vehicle to employ youth in their first jobs. Juma enhances the experience youth receive in their jobs with program services that support them in developing college and career plans and making the transition from high school to adulthood successfully. Sam has also served on numerous boards and commissions including the San Francisco Local Homeless Coordinating Board, Western States Youth Services Network Board, Honoring Emancipated Youth Board, and the Administration of Children Youth and Family peer review team for the western region. San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom and California State Assemblyman Leland Yee have both publicly recognized Sam for his tireless commitment to youth. Sam is a Graduate of Cal State Hayward with a BS in Psychology and a MS in Counseling.

Paul Collins

Prior to his work at ChaseMellon, Collins served as a Crisis Intervention Teacher with the New York City Board of Education.

Brian David

Brian joined Visage in 2002, and leads the sales, strategy and business development activities. Early in Visage's history he was instrumental in evangelizing the MVNO model to consumer brands and carriers across the U.S. He is responsible for Embarq Corporation's MVNO, led Visage's successful effort to win the Preferred MVNE award from Sprint Nextel's wholesale group, and handles many of Visage's carrier relationships. He previously served as director of business development for Moxi Digital, a technology provider to the cable and satellite television industry (now part of Digeo, Inc.), where he was responsible for Moxi's strategic relationship with AOL Time Warner, as well as other MSOs and OEMs. He moved into that role from NorthPoint Communications, where he served as executive director of Channel Strategy and Development, and was integral in negotiating and executing NorthPoint's merger agreement with Verizon. At Bain & Company, Brian consulted with clients in telecommunications and internet services. Previously, he was a media and communications investment banker for Goldman, Sachs & Co. Brian was a Regional Finalist for the White House Fellows program, and also serves on the board of Aim High.

As Deloitte's regional community involvement leader for the NorPac region, Juliana provides strategic direction and support for Deloitte's non-profit and employee volunteerism focal areas. She builds linkages and drives opportunities for Deloitte to share its commitment to support the communities in which we live and work. Her specific areas of focus include; determining Deloitte's philanthropic strategy, managing corporate donations, advising and directing on nonprofit and civic board matching and partnerships, building eminence and brand, and developing volunteer programs that allow Deloitte to attract and retain the best professionals. Juliana has twenty years of marketing, business development and communications experience, primarily for large, global businesses. She earned a BS in Business Administration from Bucknell University. David Gordon

Prior to joining the Sacramento County Office of Education in July 2004, David W. Gordon served as Superintendent of the Elk Grove Unified School District from 1995 to 2004. Elk Grove is an ethnically and economically diverse district of more than 55,600 students covering 320 square miles of Sacramento County, California. Mr. Gordon was responsible for 51 schools and budgets totaling $500 million. One of the fastest growing districts in the nation, Elk Grove is expected to grow to 80,000 students by 2010. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Gordon served as Elk Grove's Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education. Prior to coming to Elk Grove, Mr. Gordon worked for 17 years in the California State Department of Education. From 1985 to 1991 he was the Deputy State Superintendent of Public Instruction. From 1983 to 1985 he was Associate Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. During the late 1970s and early 1980s, Mr. Gordon was Assistant Director of Program Evaluation and Research and had lead responsibility for developing California's student proficiency tests and the CBEST Teacher Competency Test, which was initiated in 1982. Mr. Gordon began his career as an elementary school teacher in the South Bronx, New York, in 1968. Mr. Gordon holds a B.A. degree from Brandeis University and an Ed.M. and Certificate of Advanced Study (C.A.S.) in Educational Administration from Harvard University. He was appointed by U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige to the National Assessment Governing Board (NAGB), which oversees the National Assessment of Educational Progress (the "Nation's Report Card"). Mr. Gordon was appointed by President George W. Bush to the President's Commission on Excellence in Special Education. He has served as an Associate in Education at Harvard University, a visiting scholar at Stanford University, and a visiting professor at the University of California, Riverside. He has served on numerous boards and commissions, including the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, California Curriculum Development Commission, and the Far West Laboratory (now WestEd) Board of Directors. He has presented at the White House at the invitation of First Lady Laura Bush, has been a panelist on the U. S. Department of Education's cable television show, has testified before the U.S. Congress and state legislatures in California and around the nation, and is a frequent speaker at major conferences. Mr. Gordon was named 2002 Elk Grove Citizen Newsmaker and Man of the Year. He also has been an active volunteer in the Sacramento area, serving as a board member of the Jewish Foundation of Northern California and a member of the Elk Grove Rotary Club. He was a recent past board member of the YMCA and Capital Unity Council. He and his wife Deborah, a novelist, have two children and five grandchildren.

Carl Guardino , 44, is President and CEO of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. Founded in 1978 by David Packard of Hewlett-Packard, the Leadership Group (SVLG) is a public policy trade association that represents 195 of Silicon Valley's most respected private sector employers, who collectively provide more than 250,000 jobs - nearly one out of every four - in Silicon Valley. Before being named President of the Leadership Group, Guardino worked for Hewlett-Packard Company. Prior to his tenure at Hewlett-Packard, Guardino spent five years at the Leadership Group, where he served as Vice President. Previously, Guardino spent six years on the staff of State Assemblyman Rusty Areias, the last three years as his Chief Assistant. When he was named to that position, he became the youngest Chief Assistant in the State of California. Guardino was recently named as one of the "Five Most Powerful" people in Silicon Valley by the San Jose Mercury News "power study," which is only conducted every ten years. Known throughout the region as a consensus builder, Guardino's work includes managing the successful traffic relief initiatives, known as Measures A and B in 1996; co-directing the November 2000 Measure A traffic relief initiative to bring BART to Santa Clara County; creating the Housing Action Coalition to advocate for housing that is relatively affordable for Silicon Valley workers; developing the Santa Clara County Housing Trust; and forming the Vehicle Buy-Back Coalition to permanently remove older, smoky vehicles from our roads in order to improve air quality. Guardino also serves on numerous boards and commissions. He is the Chair of City Year San Jose Silicon Valley, the Measure A & B Citizens Watchdog Committee and the Housing Authority of Santa Clara County. In addition, he serves on the Boards for Technology Network, the San Jose Metropolitan YMCA, Bridge Housing, the Housing Trust of Santa Clara County, and the State Superintendent of Public Instruction's "P-16 Council" to improve California's education system. He was born and raised in San Jose, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from San Jose State University. Guardino has been actively involved in the community, and has been honored for his community service in being named one of the "Five Outstanding Young Californians" by the California Junior Chamber of Commerce. Carl is married to Leslee Guardino. In their spare time, they compete in marathons and Ironman-distance triathlons. They have one child, Jessica, who has wrapped Carl around her little finger.

At Scholastic, Adam also directed the company's strategic philanthropy portfolio. He received his M.A. in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University and graduated with departmental honors from Northwestern University. He completed the American Jewish Committee's Young Leadership Institute, participated in American Jewish World Service delegations from the Bay Area to Africa and South America, and is a member of the San Francisco Jewish Community Endowment Fund's Young Funders Forum. Daniel Homsey is a third generation San Franciscan who graduated from both San Francisco State University and The California Culinary Academy (CCA). Son of Maybeck Award winning Architect George Homsey, FAIA and Kay Wells 30 year Education Professional, Mr. Homsey has for the last decade been building an eclectic set of organizational and communication skills that has afforded him the ability to move freely within a very diverse set of industries. After graduating from the CCA, Mr. Homsey remained with the School to hold positions such as National Representative and the Director of Retail and Licensing. He then went on to partner on a restaurant in downtown Sebastopol called 101 Main Bistro and Wine Bar. In 1995 he relocated back the San Francisco and worked at GE Capital, then at Fatbrain.com (later it was acquired by Barnes and Noble.com). In 2000/2001 he left the firm and created a production company for a cooking show and in 2002 he became the Field Campaign Manager for then Supervisor Gavin Newsom. Mr. Homsey then went on to work on the Mayor's 2003 Campaign and then assumed the position of Manager of Constituent Relations in the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services. In 2004 he was appointed Director of the Department and has served in that capacity since. Mr. Homsey is married to Catherine Homsey who is the Manager of Corporate Development at the San Francisco Food Bank.

Primarily operating in San Francisco, California he created some of the nation's most innovative training and job creation models. The organization is the premier employment and training entity in San Francisco achieving an astounding 91% completion/placement rate. His implementation of the Minority Worker Training Program and Brownfields Job Training Pilot Demonstration Grant has received national attention and represents a true partnership between the community, federal, state, and local government. The project was awarded the prestigious Innovation in Government. In 2004, Mr. Jones was appointed by Mayor Newsom as the Director of the Mayor's Office of Community Development, Mr. Jones is responsible for the implementation of San Francisco's community development strategy allocating over $30 million for revitalization efforts annually. As an advocate for social justice and economic development, he positions residents as the first beneficiary of community revitalization and creates jobs through training programs. Recently, Mr. Jones was promoted to Director of Community Investments and Outcomes and head of the Communities of Opportunity initiative. A member of the Palo Alto City Council from 2000-2007, she was elected Mayor in 2006, during which time she became a leader in promoting environmental policies, starting with signing the US Mayors' Climate Protection Agreement. As Mayor, she created two ground-breaking initiatives: the Palo Alto/Stanford Green Ribbon Task Force on Climate Protection, a model for community sustainability that has been copied by many other cities, and the Red Ribbon Task Force on Disaster Planning. During this time she served as a Director of the Santa Clara County Emergency Preparedness Council, and was elected Chair in 2006. She has also served as President of both the Santa Clara County Cities Association and the League of California Cities Peninsula Division, representing 27 cities from San Francisco through Silicon Valley. A recognized housing advocate, she has been a member of the Santa Clara County Housing Leadership Council, and a Director of the Santa Clara County Housing Trust Fund. She also served on the Santa Clara County Social Services Advisory Commission. Judy is a business law attorney with specialties in corporate/transactional law, business regulation, public policy, and nonprofit law and governance, and served as Vice President of California Women Lawyers. She currently serves on numerous public and private boards in Silicon Valley, including serving as a Director of The Full Circle Fund, an engaged philanthropy organization cultivating the next generation of community leaders in the San Francisco Bay Area, and as an Advisor to Loaves and Fishes, which provides services and free meals to families and seniors, and the Humane Society of Silicon Valley. Previously, Judy headed several public policy and law reform organizations, from leading an award winning children's advocacy organization to coordinating the start-up of the international women' foundation, The Global Fund for Women. Always interested in matters of public health, she served as President of both the California affiliate of Pro-Choice America, and the American Heart Association for Palo Alto/Stanford, and was the founder of the Northern California Friends of the Pediatric AIDS Foundation. A native of Rhode Island, Judy graduated from the University of Michigan Honors College and Boalt Hall School of Law at Berkeley, where she was a member of the California Law Review. Her husband, Jim, is a Judge of the California Superior Court and they have two children: Lauren, an architect in Palo Alto, and Alexander, who heads business development for Google in Southeast Asia and works with his wife, Sheryn Ang, a native of Malaysia, in Google's Singapore office.

Over the last 18 years Victoria has volunteered for numerous projects around the world, including Hands On San Francisco, project leader and volunteer coordinator; Honduran Emergency Relief (San Francisco), fundraising, volunteer coordinator; Nelson Mandela Reconstruction and Development Programme (Johannesburg, South Africa), worked with corporations to bring basic services to local townships; Red Cross Emergency Shelter Manager, Hurricane Gilbert (San Antonio, Texas), San Francisco Earthquake (Marina Shelter), Oakland Fire; International Visitors Center (San Francisco), Volunteer Diplomatic Core; Year of the Jewish Woman Conference (London,England); Queen Elizabeth Conference Center, coordinator of programs for more than 10,000 participants.

Anthony Lee

Anthony Lee is a General Partner of Altos Ventures, a first-stage technology venture capital fund. He serves on the boards of several high-growth, global technology companies, including Accelovation, CrownPeak, Demandbase, GuardianEdge, and Xignite. Prior to Altos, Anthony served as Vice President of Marketing for social Web search pioneer Clip2.com. Previously, he was Vice President of Marketing for Evolve Software, which achieved a successful IPO in late 2000. Anthony also co-founded Signature Wines, an Inc. 500 distributor of private label wines. Anthony began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and has published a national magazine. Anthony serves as a Director of the National Association of Investment Companies (NAIC) and as a Trustee of FSC Business Today. He is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, and a founding member of the Full Circle Fund. Anthony earned his MBA from Stanford University and AB in Politics and Economics from Princeton University.
