Caminos Pathways Learning Center, a past Full Circle Fund grantee, was hit by a four-alarm fire on March 17. Full Circle Fund sent out an immediate call to action, asking our friends and members to support this outstanding organization in their time of need.
Since then, Caminos has received over $17,000 in donations, including many gifts from the Full Circle Fund community. Sister Petra Chávez, founder of Caminos, thanked Full Circle Fund’s community for its support, saying, “People have been so great and generous. It’s so uplifting. We are inspired!”

In particular, Petra thanks member Michael McCarthy, who helped Caminos move some of their classes into the new computer labs at Valencia Gardens, a public housing project in San Francisco. Thanks to the community’s support, Caminos has held every one of their classes that provide hands-on technology and computer training to Latina women - a truly amazing accomplishment.
Caminos is an nonprofit that works towards digital inclusion by training low-income Latina women to use technology and empower them to build living-wage careers within the information and technology sector.
