The apprehension was in the air as the new members approached Dada SF Studio’s bar, but soon their fears were alleviated when they found out just how friendly the other Full Circle Fund members were. Nearly 15 new and current members - along with five people thinking about membership - got together for the first of many New Member Happy Hours, planned by member Trina Martynowicz, Community Fellows 2008 chair and New Member Ambassador in the Environment Circle.

New and veteran members were soon chatting like old friends over drinks, bonding over project teams and upcoming grantee presentations - wondering who would make the cut and be given a grant this year! If you missed the event, don’t worry. Since the first New Member Happy Hour was such a success, more are in the works. Be on the look out for the next New Member Happy Hour at a bar near you.
