Philanthropic Chef Helps Full Circle Fund Thrive

Posted by Kari on February 13th, 2009

Full Circle Fund programs are known for bringing rich, juicy, content and deliciously compelling guests to our members. But if you came to see Elizabeth Funk speak about microfinance at our September 2008 event at Google or heard the Panel of Top Social Entrepreneurs in May, chances are you also tasted the distinctive culinary offerings of M. Woodward Catering. Owner/Executive Chef Michael Woodward and his team generously prepared their own “rich content” as a donation to Full Circle Fund, serving a diverse and delectable array of hors d’oeuvres made from the freshest local ingredients.

“As a caterer in the Bay Area, I know that development of community support and growth is vital to the success of any business. I’m happy to be able to donate to Full Circle Fund because they take the idea of community to the furthest degree,” says Michael, “They empower those who are a part of the community to help others build success and, eventually, thrive.”

Amy Lesnick thanks Michael Woodward

Chef Michael was acknowledged for his 2008 contributions by Amy Lesnick in September, and we are thrilled to announce that this partnership with M. Woodward Catering will continue in 2009. Continued support from sponsors like Michael greatly reduces our organization’s hospitality expenses and decrease staff time spent coordinating catering logistics, enabling Full Circle Fund to keep our strong focus on engaging young leaders and driving social change.

>We encourage you to support socially aware businesses such as M. Woodward Catering and our generous wine donor, Mfinity Wines, that help nonprofit organizations thrive during challenging economic times and beyond.
