The GRID Alternatives Project Team and Full Circle Fund are proud to report that after an extensive search, Mary M. Biasotti was offered and accepted the position of Bay Area Regional Director of GRID Alternatives. A regionally-recognized leader in community development, Mary brings 25 years of nonprofit experience in many managerial roles, including developing social enterprises that combine social missions with business-like structures. She began on March 2, 2009.
Mary’s hiring marks a major milestone in the GRID Alternatives/Full Circle Fund Partnership. GRID Alternatives is approaching a major inflection point with the rollout of the $108mm CA Single Family Low Income (SFLI) solar installation program. In addition to their core activity of implementing solar installations that will leverage the incentives made available through this program, GRID was selected as the single independent Program Manager to administer the SFLI program for the state. The Full Circle Fund/GRID Alternatives partnership is based on helping GRID build its internal capabilities and develop the organization to handle the ramp-up in activity and responsibilities during this exciting time.
