Career Opportunities
Executive Director
Full Circle Fund empowers communities in the Bay Area by connecting skilled professionals with local nonprofits. We believe that nonprofits are best equipped to identify the needs of their communities. Through partnership and collaboration, our volunteers leverage their expertise and resources to support these organizations in achieving their missions. Over the past 20 years, our volunteers have collectively given 100,000+ hours of their time to over 100 nonprofits. Many have even gone on to be leaders in their communities by joining nonprofit boards, running for public office and switching careers to nonprofits and foundations. Together, we can do more.
From our nonprofit engagements, to our volunteer teams, to our hiring - these values guide how we do the work:
- We are empathetic.
- We are committed.
- We advocate for our communities.
- We have fun!
The Opportunity
This is an exciting time for our organization. We have just merged with YCore, a nonprofit focused on training young working professionals in the Bay Area to be committed partners working towards community-based change.
We are looking for a dynamic, mission-driven Executive Director who has the operational excellence to transition Full Circle Fund through this new phase that leverages the best of both organizations. Strong interpersonal skills and networks will be important to build a strong community - from members to funders.
Full Circle Fund’s work is at the intersection of the private sector, nonprofit sector, public sector, corporations and foundations. The Executive Director should be comfortable forming partnerships and collaborations across all of these sectors.
Executive Director Role Overview
Full Circle Fund’s next Executive Director will expand the impact of an innovative Bay Area social impact organization by designing strategies for the merged entities, managing daily operations, strengthening financial health through membership and donor development, and collaborating with the Board of Directors and program manager to secure necessary resources for success.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience, with 3+ years demonstrated leadership experience. Nonprofit experience preferred.
- Experience with nonprofit fundraising, focusing on increasing the grant, individual donor, and corporate revenue.
- Experience building and implementing org cultures that are rooted in justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. Leading with cultural humility.
- Experienced and flexible in operationalizing a strategic vision, moving a team from ideation to implementation, measuring impact, and course-correct when needed.
