Jeff Camp grew up in California, attending public schools in the Bay Area. During high school he developed an interest in education policy as an active member of the California Association of Student Councils. He earned his BA at Harvard in East Asian Studies, where he studied Japanese. He worked for 12 years at Microsoft in Redmond and Tokyo in roles in marketing, product leadership, and general management. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2001, Jeff has been a very active member of Full Circle Fund's Education Circle, which he now chairs. He is the lead author of the Education Impact Guide, a summary of competing strategies for improving education in California. Jeff is a frequent speaker and writer on education issues. He served on the California Governor's Committee on Education Excellence, and was a reviewer for the Race to the Top competition.
