Is your New Year's resolution to get more engaged in your community? Ready to use your skills and resources to make an impact? It's never a bad time to join Full Circle Fund, but with the Global Economic Opportunity (GEO) and Education Circles both kicking off grant cycles in early 2011, the timing couldn't be better.
The grant cycle is a critical time that sets the path for the Circle's coming year of engagement. During this process, Members decide on key sub-issues to address, research, and eventually select nonprofit innovators and social entrepreneurs to support with a grant of both time and money.
Our 2011 Grant Cycle Directors Annette Brinton (GEO) and Kim Jacobson (Ed) will work together with members and leadership to ensure that the grant process is informative, thought-provoking, and results in teams that are ready to engage fully with our nonprofit partners.
For people who like to "start at the beginning," this is an excellent time to get on board. Sign up for the next circle meeting so you can get in on the ground floor. Contact our Membership Associate by email for more about membership.
Full Circle Fund does not accept unsolicited grant requests, so these meetings are not the best way for potential grantees to learn about us. Potential grantees may contact our VP of Programs by email to talk about how to become a grantee.
