To keep Circles running smoothly, we rely on rising stars to volunteer their time and talent as Coordinators in exchange for membership. These hard-working members of the Circle Leadership team make a year-long commitment (minimum) and assist Chairs with everything from strategy, issue area expertise, impact reporting, logistics, operations, and more. We'd like to thank and congratulate outgoing Global Economic Opportunity Coordinator,Lucy Burns, who also served as a project lead for theFIIteam during her tenure at Full Circle Fund. Lucy is pursuing a Master's in Creative Writing at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Christa Brown is currently a Community Mobilization Officer at the United Way of the Bay Area and was recently welcomed to the Global Economic Opportunity Circle as our new coordinator! Thank you, Christa; we're excited to have your insight and participation.
We are delighted that Alumni Member Lindsay Norcott, who recently received her MBA from Columbia University, and was previously leader of the Beyond 12 project, has returned to the Bay Area and will now be coordinating the Education Circle.
Thank you and a fond farewell to our former Education Coordinator Jenny Jordan, who was an Education Pioneers Fellow at Aspire Public Schools and will be pursuing her MBA at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (as well as her Master's in Education) in the fall.
Finally, we'd be remiss not to mention our wonderful Environment Circle Coordinator Aimee Epstein of Recurrent Energy, who is continuing in her role for 2012!
What an accomplished group of young leaders. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. We couldn't do it without you.
