Michael Spiegelman is currently Director of Product Innovation at Netflix, where he is focused on developing features that improve the streaming service experience. Prior to joining Netflix in 2010, Michael spent six years at Yahoo!, most recently as Senior Director of Global Entertainment Products, running the music, movies, tv, games, celebrity, video and lifestyles sites across the world. Before that, he was Senior Director and General Manager of Yahoo! Music, at the time the #2 music website in the world. Previously, he held product manager positions at Yahoo! Music.
Before joining Yahoo!, Michael co-founded and served as a principal at Web Paradox, a website and technology consulting firm, where his clients included Verizon, AT&T, the US Marine Corps and Scantron. Previously, he was a senior strategy consultant at web consultancy iXL, working with Fortune 500 clients to develop and execute strategies on the Internet. Before that, he was a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen Consulting, and he started his career as a consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers working with public sector clients.
Michael is a graduate of Pomona College, with a bachelor of arts degree in International Relations. He currently lives in San Francisco.
