Pamela Hawley

Pamela Hawley is the founder and CEO of UniversalGiving (, a social entrepreneurship nonprofit which helps people give and volunteer with the top-performing projects all over the world. UniversalGiving Corporate is a customized version for Fortune 500 companies, which leads their CSR strategy and NGO Vetting. UniversalGiving's vision is to "create a world where giving and volunteering is a natural part of everyday life." Pamela is a winner of the Jefferson Award and was profiled on CBS ( and BusinessWeek ( She has traveled in more than 25 countries, volunteering in microfinance in India, with the handicapped in Cambodia, and in the earthquake crisis in El Salvador. She was also a co-founder of VolunteerMatch, and an avid "Dukie." On the side, she loves improv, performing at Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, and BATS. Number one in her life is family, and one of her greatest joys is taking care of her nephews and niece.
