At our Demo Day in July, Full Circle Fund Executive Director Tim Smith & Co-Founder Josh Becker announced the launch of The Founders’ Pledge: an innovative new program of Full Circle Fund in which startup founders integrate contributions to social causes and civic engagement directly into the culture of their companies by giving a portion of their funds, time and talent to local organizations.
To date, Airbanq, archive.ly, Junyo, LendLayer, Lex Machina, Obindo, Optimizely and Team Builder Ventures have taken the pledge – and The Salesforce.com Foundation as backed it! We are celebrating our launch on 9/10 At Runway Incubator in SF and invite those interested in giving back to join us.
“The best decision we ever made at salesforce.com was adopting an integrated corporate philanthropy model when we started the company. As we’ve grown the company, so has our ability to give back to the community. Just imagine the impact our industry could make if every entrepreneur took the Founders’ Pledge.”– salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff
