Rachel is the Founder & CEO of CloseGap, a tech-enabled nonprofit that connects low-income students to donors. She is passionate about closing the opportunity gap and fostering educational equity through high-impact, peer-to-peer giving. She has been active in the social impact space for several years, with a diverse range of experiences, including spearheading a shoe-raiser for disadvantaged children in Mexico and leading a team at the California Student Aid Commission tasked with helping DACA students obtain financial aid for college. Rachel earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, and her M.S. in Entrepreneurship from the Graduate School of Economics at the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
