Dara Olandt
Executive Director at Full Circle Fund
Dara brings over twelve years experience as an executive leader of non-profit organizations and is dedicated to advancing a future worthy of the next generations. A seasoned community organizer, and strategic project manager, Dara grows and scales programs for social impact, creating transformative experiences that inspire others. Her approach is nuanced by years of work at the intersections of spirituality and social change, and rooted in practices that sustain communities of hope, courage and connection.
A DEI-centered leader with strong people, communication, and research skills, Dara has frequently engaged teams and organizations on topics related to organizational resilience, equity, wholeness and justice. She offers insight and thoughtful listening to unlock cultures of positive exchange and innovation, while supporting diverse stakeholders in identifying common purpose.
Prior to Full Circle Fund, Dara built leadership programs at Mills College in Oakland for five years, and led several organizations to pursue dreams, including bringing in over $1.2 million dollars in new funding to purchase a historic building, and expanding initiatives related to immigration justice, and affordable housing in the Bay Area. She holds a dual B.A in Political Science and American Studies, and a master’s degree focused on World Religions and Society.
When she is not facilitating meetings or thinking with others about systemic change, you can find Dara at the Pacific Ocean, gazing awe-struck at the tide pools, playing with her kids, or searching local galleries, museums and murals for new works by Bay Area artists.
